Boasting a wonderful beach location and presenting a beautiful setting in which to relax and rejuvenate, Santana Beach Resort is a great choice for holiday-makers wishing to head to Goa.
What we love
Being a family-run hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
The hotel’s beach shack, ‘Calamari’, is one of the best in Goa, serving delicious Goan favourites and seafood, accompanied by live music most days. Santana Beach resort guests get 15% off their bills at Calamari.
Good to know
Don't leave it to the last minute - this hotel sells out very quickly so book early to avoid disappointment!
Although there aren’t safes in the rooms themselves, they can be hired from reception for a small fee.
A beautiful beach location
The Santana Beach Resort is a charming family-run hotel and a popular choice with British holidaymakers. Perfect for beach lovers, the hotel enjoys direct access to the golden sands of Candolim Beach, where the sand stretches as far as the eye can see. It's here you'll find the hotel’s beach shack, Calamari, where there are plenty of sunloungers available, as well as delicious seafood and Goan favourites.
Back in the hotel grounds, you’ll encounter towering palms and sunbathing lawns, as well as two inviting swimming pools. The hotel’s simple yet charming rooms are set in Portuguese-style blocks and are scattered around the grounds, defined by cheerful décor and all offering a balcony or terrace. There are 60 rooms at the hotel, all well equipped with the likes of a television, tea/coffee-making facilities, air-conditioning and a minibar.
The location of Santana Beach Resort is great for exploring Candolim’s lively centre too, set just a short stroll from a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. You can also enjoy the history and scenic delights of Fort Aguada, which is just a 10-minute walk south of the hotel, located on Sinquerim Beach.
For anyone looking to explore a little further afield, a 30-minute taxi journey can take you to visit the splendour of Old Goa with its impressive temples, or head to Ponda to discover the colourful spice plantations and Hindu temples this area is famous for.
