For the most up-to-date entry, passport and visa information, please visit the FCDO travel advice for India by clicking here. Please be aware that information can change at short notice so please ensure you check the page regularly.

An E-visa service is available, and you can apply for certain categories of visas online. Check that you are eligible before you apply and apply in good time, although this must be within 30 days of your departure date. Visit the Government of India’s e-Visa website for details. (please do not confuse this with the e-arrival form)

You may wish to add the details of our local handling agent as appropriate on your application, their address is as below:

SITA Travels, Second Floor, Alcon Chambers, Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Panjim, Goa 403001, India. Tel: +91 832 2490 151.

Once your e-visa has been granted please log back onto the India Visa Online application and check your visa status. You will need to print your Electronic Travel Authorization / Indian E-visa as this provides the QR code for immigration on arrival in Goa.

Using a visa agent

You might prefer to use a visa agent, to help simplify the process. They will complete the visa application on your behalf for an additional charge.

e-Arrival Form

You will need to complete an online e-Arrival card within 72 hours before your arrival in India: e-Arrival; this will replace the paper disembarkation cards. We recommended keeping a printed copy of the digital e-Arrival form with your passport and e-visa status.
