Boasting a sought-after beachfront location and expansive grounds filled with coconut palms and manicured lawns, the Holiday Inn Resort Goa is a well-established property in a peaceful setting.
What we love
- Its beachfront location – the soft white sands of Mobor Beach offers the perfect setting to make the most of the glorious weather.
Good to know
The nearby Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant is well worth a visit. Set on the banks of the Sal River, this atmospheric restaurant is famous for its delicious fresh fish and seafood dishes.
The hotel is a popular choice for Indian weddings which are often vibrant and colourful occasions.
Laze beside the sands of South Goa
Come and relax amid the languid atmosphere of South Goa, Holiday Inn’s large, free-form swimming pool offers the perfect place for guests to soak up the hot Indian sunshine and recharge. Alternatively, a short stroll across the lawns will bring you to the stunning white sands of Mobor Beach, stretching as far as the eye can see.
The comfortable guest rooms are scattered around the plush green grounds and have been designed in a colonial theme, with dark wooden furnishings and terracotta flooring. There are plenty of features and facilities to enjoy in the rooms, from air-conditioning and a television, to a minibar and tea/coffee-making facilities.
Enjoy delicious Goan cuisine
The good facilities continue throughout the hotel, with guests able to enjoy some wonderful dining experiences across the three restaurants and a bar found on-site. Our favourite eatery here is the primly located Beach Grill - perfect for watching the orange and pink hues of the sunset as you dine on delicious food.
Besides the food, guests can also make the most of a gym, spa and tennis courts found within the grounds of the hotel, while exploring nearby resorts such as Cavelossim and Palolem is highly rewarding.
The Holiday Inn Resort Goa is a great choice for those wanting a relaxing holiday, adopting the ‘Susegado,’ laid-back atmosphere of Southern Goa.
Our Expert Opinion
"There is nothing more relaxing than an evening stroll along the beautiful Mobor Beach – taking a paddle in the Arabian Sea and stopping off for a chilled Kingfisher beer in one of the colourful beach shacks."
