Goa Weather in November

November is a popular month to visit Goa, as the monsoon season has passed, temperatures rise and a lush green landscape has been left following the rain. Average maximum day time temperatures are at a warm 32ºC during November, and the evening temperatures are pleasant, averaging around 24ºC. The beaches are particularly inviting at this time of the year as the water is a warm 29ºC, and as November passes, you'll notice that practically no clouds appear in the sky. As one of the best times to visit Goa, perhaps it's time for a bit of beach hopping?

An ideal time to escape the winter blues of the UK, the weather in Goa in December will provide a nice healthy dose of vitamin D. It can also be the cheapest time to visit Goa, so look out for any special offers that are simply too good to miss. During the month of May, the temperature and humidity begin to rise as Goa prepares to start the annual monsoon season. However, even though there is a noticeable increase in rainfall during this month, even at the end of May there is only up to 38% risk of rainfall. If you're not phased by humid weather, then it's still a nice time to enjoy the state's beautiful beaches, although even at night time the temperatures do not drop much lower than 27ºC. It's also worth noting that the shacks along the beach begin to be dismantled during May, in preparation for monsoon season.

In June the temperature begins to cool slightly as the rains become more prevalent, and the monsoon season starts to take hold. A typical amount of rainfall for this month is around 868mm, and by the end of the month, probability of rainfall rises to 78%. During the whole of this monsoon season, extremely high tides affect many of the beaches, where much of the sand is washed away.

September sees the monsoon season begin to wane, and expected rainfall decreases to around 252mm for the month. The sea temperature increases during September, and the by the end of the month, the likelihood of rain drops down to around 56%. The overcast sky slowly starts to dispurse, however humidity remains fairly high.
