Located just north of Colva, Majorda offers 25km of soft golden sand and is famed as being one of the most picturesque beaches in the south of Goa. Along the coastline, you’ll find a small selection of beach shacks where you can try tasty Goan delicacies and enjoy a refreshing Kingfisher beer or two.
Unlike its more energetic neighbour Colva, the ambience in Majorda village is one of calm, but you can still find a number of shops and restaurants to peruse close by or a Portuguese heritage home or two to admire, if you can tear yourself away from the beach.
Majorda is also home to Martin’s Corner, one of Goa’s most famous restaurants. Here, you can experience á la carte dining at its best and enjoy a whole host of cuisine from traditional Goan and Indian to Tandoori and Chinese. They also serve a fantastic variety of fresh seafood.
