Slightly inland from Anjuna, Siolim is a stunning riverside village and one of the largest in the state with a population of roughly 12,000. Still hosting a very Goan feel, Siolim is ideal for those looking to escape tourism and experience a traditional holiday. There is some interesting architecture to be seen, including Portuguese heritage homes and a number of churches, built as far back as the 1500’s.
