North Goa
Morjim & Ashvem
These wild, picturesque expanses can be found in the far north of Goa, equipped with a handful of trendy beach bars and shacks, in addition to its long stretch of sand and gentle, lapping water. The beaches are also the nestling grounds for the world famous Olive Ridley sea turtles, with the aquatic creatures visiting the area between October and March. Morjim beach was also awarded the sixth best beach in India, in the 2016 Travellers' Choice awards, hosted by TripAdvisor.
North Goa
Anjuna & Vagator
Anjuna is perhaps best known for its Wednesday Flea Market, but head towards the ocean and you’ll find a small number of cosy and charming curves of sand to relax upon. The beaches may not be the biggest or the longest, but a picturesque landscape backing and the occurrence of superb sunsets ensure this beach should remain high on your list of locations to visit.
North Goa
Baga
Located to the south of Morjim and Ashvem and defined by its vibrant resort atmosphere, Baga’s long stretch of golden sand is a real favourite for domestic tourists. An unbroken line of shacks fuel the crowded beach, spreading across the sand to the mouth of Baga Creek where you'll encounter dozens of colourful fishing boats docked along the water.
North Goa
Candolim & Calangute
Candolim and Calangute are extremely popular with British tourists on Goa holidays, descending here for the long stretches of golden sand that present one of the most inviting beaches in Goa. It is also the friendly and colourful atmosphere that makes these two beaches so appealing, best defined by the row of beach shacks hiring out sun loungers and serving up delicious Goan fish curry.
North Goa
Sinquerim
Presenting a prime example of Goa at its most relaxed, Sinquerim is a quiet and peaceful place to laze on the sand during your holiday to Goa. The beach features just a handful of beach shacks, while at the southern end of the beach you can even discover some history. Fort Aguada is a 16th-century structure dating from the Portuguese colonisation, today offering wonderful coastal views.
South Goa
Arossim
The quiet and quaint resort of Arossim boasts a beautiful beach, defined by a long and wide stretch of powder-white sand and a scattering of colourful beach shacks - the perfect place from which to enjoy the stunning sunset. Don’t miss out on a visit to ‘Zeebop’, a famous shack serving some of the best seafood in Goa, set amid coconut palms which encapsulate romance.
South Goa
Colva
Though much of the south is considered a more languid alternative to the north, Colva dismisses this identity by presenting a lively and vibrant character. Here you'll encounter a myriad of water sports, bustling beach shacks and friendly vendors, while the long stretch of white sand, backed by coconut palms and sand dunes, is filled with domestic and international tourists alike. Out to sea several colourful fishing boats bob along, ready to bring in the catch of the day, while a bustling main street snakes away from the beach inland.
South Goa
Mobor
Tucked down in South Goa and largely reflecting the chilled vibe that accompanies this region of the state, Mobor is the classic laid-back hangout for those seeking a Goa holiday with a slow pace. In addition to this, the beach is gorgeous, showcasing a stunning spit of soft white sand catered to by a few rustic beach shacks.
South Goa
Cola
A stunning and peaceful beach located along an isolated bay in South Goa, this private setting presents the blissful Goa of old, one undiscovered and undeveloped, simply showcasing the beauty of Goan nature. This is also where we host our memorable Maharaja Night where you can enjoy the boutique comfort of the safari tents erected on the sand.
South Goa
Palolem & Agonda
Palolem and Agonda are arguably among the finest beaches in the whole of Goa. These stunning curves of palm-fringed sand are met by some of the safest swimming waters in the state. Though the beaches aren’t as undeveloped and sedate as in previous years, particularly in Palolem, there is still a charm and character to Palolem and Agonda, best found in ramshackle beach huts serving tasty local grub. Palolem beach was also awarded the second best beach in India in the 2016 Travellers' Choice awards, hosted by TripAdvisor.
