One fantastic way to experience Kerala and its beautiful beaches is as a twin-centre holiday with Goa, so not only do you get the chance to enjoy a soft introduction to India and some wonderful heritage through your time in Goa, but you'll also uncover some of the destination's most beautiful and laid-back landscapes and local traditions.

1. Alila Diwa, Goa | Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra, Kerala 

These two luxury hotels are sure to satisfy the most discerning of travellers. Alila Diwa in South Goa showcases a Balinese style, surrounded by plush rice paddies and coconut groves, all just a short walk from the sandy beach. Niraamaya Retreats is found in Trivandrum in the south of Kerala, boasting a glorious clifftop and beachfront location, exuding the ultimate in romance and elegance. There's also a wonderful spa offering traditional ayurvedic treatments, so for couples looking to relax, these two hotels offer absolute, incomparable paradise.

2. The Gateway Hotel, Kerala | Caravela Beach Resort, Goa 

Introduced to our Kerala collection as a wonderful mid-range option, The Gateway Hotel is surrounded by swaying palms, set just back from the clifftops of Varkala in southern Kerala. With a sprawling golden beach home to colourful shacks at the bottom of the cliff, it's a lovely choice for a beach holiday in Kerala. Heading to another beach paradise, Caravela Beach Resort in Varca, South Goa, is in a prime position alongside the white sands. There's plenty of activities on offer as well as a swim-up bar to take advantage of, so you're sure to feel relaxed in no time.

3. Taj Fort Aguada, Goa | Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kerala 

If you love the service and quality associated with the Taj Hotel Group, you'll love this twin-centre option as much as we do. Starting in Sinquerim, North Goa, the Taj Fort Aguada is a beautiful resort, built within the walls of an old Portuguese hill fort. Overlooking the golden sands of Sinquerim Beach, you can choose a spot for your beach towel, or make the most of the large pool, yoga sessions or perhaps the Jiva Spa? Moving to Kerala and to the southern resort of Kovalam, the Taj Green Cove awaits. Nestled amongst plush vegetation and palm trees, the resort overlooks a lagoon and onto the coast, where Kovalam Beach is waiting, less than a mile away. This is a fantastic option for those in search of a memorable, luxury escape.
