With superb seafood and a fabulous view, this is the perfect cliff-top spot to watch the sunset. It isn’t cheap but it is well worth it, due to its stunning location, lively atmosphere, great food and service. Evenings feature live music, breaking plates and traditional Greek dancing.

2. Jamies Restaurant

Location: 7/188 Saunta Vaddo | Calangute-Baga Rd, Baga
An inexpensive, small restaurant not far from Baga Beach, with a great reputation. It offers a large range of dishes from local curries to steaks and ribs.
3. Pousada by the Beach
Cuisine: Authentic Portuguese-Goan cuisine
Location: On the beach at the end of Holiday Street, Calangute
With very welcoming hosts, including a friendly Labrador called Biscuit, Pousada serves excellent, genuine Goan cuisine by a lovely beach. The atmosphere is jovial and casual. Don’t miss their Prawn Goan Curry and for dessert be sure to try their Goan speciality, bebinca, a multi-layered coconut cake.

A fantastic beach shack run by Santana Beach Hotel. There’s huge choice on the menu and plenty of sun loungers. In the evening it’s the perfect spot for relaxed dining with your toes in the sand.

With an elevated position, this fabulous seafood restaurant at Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada, has stunning views along Candolim and Calangute beaches and on clear days as far as Baga Creek.
