A quaint family-run hotel tucked away in the resort of Baga and just a stone's throw from the beach.
What we love
The location of the hotel – you’ve got everything on your doorstep, including the stunning Baga Beach.
You’re just a short drive from Anjuna Flea Market. Held on Wednesdays close to the beach in a coconut plantation, it’s a bright tourist bazaar well worth visiting.
Good to know
- Baga is a very popular and busy resort with both international and domestic tourists.
An oasis of calm in a popular spot
A family-run, friendly property, Alidia Beach Resort is a charming hotel, surrounded by plush tropical gardens and home to an inviting pool and sun terrace. Set back from the main road behind a white-washed chapel, guests are just a short walk from a very good variety of shops, restaurants and bars, along with the popular stretch of golden sand that is Baga Beach. All the amenities you could need are right on your doorstep, yet the location of the property, away from the main road, provides a welcome sense of serenity, and the perfect chance to relax amongst this lively resort.
The property’s guest rooms are fairly basic in their setup and décor; however, all have a balcony or terrace which overlooks the pool area. Other amenities include a small on-site restaurant, which serves up some tasty local specialities, including fresh seafood.
It’s all about the location
The town of Baga and its long sandy beach can be found right in the north of the state, nestled between Anjuna and Candolim. A lively spot with plenty going on, if you’re looking for a holiday filled with activities, Baga is great place to consider. The beach is lined with ample shacks serving up Goan classics, and the town is home to lots of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
